John Baptist2 Martin (Nicholas1) was born 9 September 1864 at Port Washington, Ozaukee
County, Wisconsin, the son of Nicholas and Margaretha (Wester) Martin. There is no record
of his birth in Ozaukee County birth records.
He never married.
He died 14 November 1948, age 84, of arteriosclerotic heart disease, at Port Washington.
The funeral was held 17 November 1948 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at 117 East Van
Buren Street, Port Washington, and he is buried in St. Mary’s Cemetery there. See
